Mt Pleasant Animal Clinic,Whitley Road, Singapore

Brought a Golden Retriever from Sembawang to above clinic and back. Being a saturday,it was really crowded...I mean the road as well as the clinic.

At least there were 20 pets waiting to see the vets. Very good business indeed for the vets.

Last saturday,I was called upon to move a Golden Retreiver and 2 boxes of personal effects of a lady from Hougang to Serangoon Ave 2.
The lady was very generous and kind and paid me $70 and also gave me a $10 tip. The distance between the 2 places was about 5 km but she was so glad I help her.
Later in my van she told me she once paid $160 for a 2 way trip for her pet from her house to Namly Animal Clinic near Bukit Timah area.

Be reasonable please

Someone sms me asking for my pet taxi service. At 6pm,I was asked to go to Bukit Timah area and transport a big dog to a clinic at Balestier.I was supposed to arrive at the Bt Timah house at 7pm. I was told that I would be paid S$20 for a one way trip. When I turned down the request because of the low fare and heavy traffic during that peak hour I was chided as being unhelpful. I was also told that it was bad business pratice to refuse to transport the dog (it was not a case of emergency).
To that person and like minded people I would like to ask a favour and that is "please do not contact me if you are a cheapskate".

What a shame!

When I turned up to pick a dog from a clinic,the dog nor it's owner was not present. After making a call,I found out my pet taxi service was not needed. I had driven miles to the clinic and the decent thing the dog owner could do was to inform me she did not require my service anymore.It could have saved me lots of inconveniences and businesses missed. No compensation was offered except an apology which was offered after an sms (no response) and a call from me.

Jack Rusell and Husky

Took a Jack Russell and her "mom" and "dad" to Tanjong Beach,Sentosa yesterday for a picnic.

Also transported a Husky after celebrating her birthday at East Coast to Woodlands on Saturday.

It's best to be truthful

There were a few cases whereby the would be clients gave me the wrong information on the number of items to be moved or the weight. An example is "3 medium size suitcases,5 small carton boxes and a few small items" turned out to be like in the picture.Of course,the picture is a bit exaggerated but it's something not much different. My Honda Acty van is small and the specification is given somewhere in this blog. Space in the van is limited and maximum cargo weight can be transported is about 300 kg. Some people thought by deliberately "misrepresenting" the facts, would get a cheaper quote from me. However,little did they realised if I arrived at their place and my assessment is that the van could not take all the stuff in one go,I won't hesitate to leave them behind. In such situation,it's a lose lose situation. So I urge you to tell the truth about the items you would have me moved in order to save us both lots of inconveniences. The other thing to take note is I do NOT provide manpower i.e. I do not help out in the lifting/carrying of your items.You or your friends/relatives etc have to do the moving.I merely provide transportation.

Golden Retriever & Husky to Sentosa Beach

husky It was a late booking for these 2 dogs from YCK to Siloso Beach,Sentosa with their pretty owner. I was called at 5:30pm and had to speed to YCK in 15 minutes. It took 25 minutes to reach Siloso Beach from YCK. Nice lady paid me S$70 for a single trip. Call 96528428 if you need to transport your pet to anywhere in S'pore.

Taxi driver upset with dog

Brought a Golden Retriever back to his home from a dog show. He and his owner went to the show by a taxi/cab.The taxi driver was very unhappy and started to nagged at the dog owner because his GR was drooling and smelled like a dog. The owner was upset and decided not to return by taxi. Instead he called me for help. I gladly sent them back home.

Brought 2 of these Shetland Sheep dogs or Shelties as popularly know to a Sembawang clinic this morning. Lovely good pets they were. Thank you Alex for your patronage>

A single size mattress is ok

As a rule since my van is small a single mattress is ok to be transported.Queen and King size mattresses are definitely a no no.

Beagle in my Pet Taxi

Yesterday,I transported a Beagle from her home at Yishun to a clinic at Sembawang vice versa. This Beagle has been to Sentosa in my Pet Taxi before and so she is familiar with me. No barking and well behaved all the way.

Pet taxi to Sentosa

These customers took my taxi to Sentosa and return trip recently with their furkid. I picked them up at 9am and returned to Sentosa to fetch them to their home at 2pm.The cost of entry per person ( I don't have to pay)was S$2 and per vehicle was also $2. All the admission charges were paid by the passengers. Sentosa Corps deducted the amount from my cash card and later on the passengers refunded me.
